Biography

Lucrezia Cioni studied at the University of Florence, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Modern Philology in April 2025 with a thesis entitled Prime ricerche sulla tradizione del volgarizzamento della prima Deca di Tito Livio, supervised by Professor Luca Azzetta. She also participated in the basic training course for editors of the Tesoro della Lingua Italiana delle Origini (TLIO) organised by the Opera del Vocabolario Italiano (OVI), which allowed her to familiarise herself with the databases and lexicographical tools essential for research. Her current areas of research and interest revolve around vulgarisations and Romance philology.
